OPAQUE MAN — NEW SINGLE (April 3rd 2026)
A rare standalone release from Madadkin, Opaque Man is scheduled to appear in the coming days.
The track is short, direct, and deliberately unpolished — closer to a burst than a composition. There is very little decoration here. No attempt to persuade. Just impact.
Some pieces resist expansion. This is one of them.
As ever, the title suggests more than it explains.
The figure of the “opaque man” is not presented, but resisted — something closed, unreadable, perhaps even wilfully so. Whether this opacity is protection, denial, or power is left unresolved.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE FALL? — NEW ALBUM (June 4th 2026)
Madadkin's latest album arrives on 4 June, taking listeners on a strange and unpredictable journey through satire, philosophy, absurdity, fear, hope, monsters, aliens, tape recordings, brass bands and clowns.
What begins with warnings of decline gradually unfolds into a theatrical sequence of comic interruptions, dark reflections, radio transmissions and unexpected revelations. Along the way, familiar Madadkin questions emerge: What gives human life purpose? Can we still distinguish truth from illusion? And is there any reason for hope when civilization seems to be losing its way?
Balancing humour and seriousness, the album moves between cynicism and humanism, ending with a meditation on recurrence, second chances and the possibility that every ending may also be a beginning.
Available from 4 June on all major streaming platforms.
